Kilcoy's "Grand Old Lady" is celebrating her 100th birthday on 21 October 2013. For almost 100 years, this local icon has stood firmly on the corner of Kennedy Street and Post Office Lane Kilcoy. It continues to provide the Kilcoy township and surrounding area with the full functions of a licensed "Australia Post" office which includes a banking facility, passport application service, and an extensive range of giftwares.
